Case Study - Principal Investment Management Limited

Principal is a private client portfolio management company with an established reputation for professionalism and personal service.

Founded over 20 years ago, they now employ over 100 people in offices across the UK. In March 2008 they became a member of the Sanlam Group, a leading South African financial services business.

They specialise in discretionary portfolio management for private individuals, family trusts and smaller corporate clients.

What was the brief?

We were contacted by Arianna Powell of Principal Investment Management to put forward ideas for client gifts which will aim to promote the Principal brand.

What did we do?

We researched the key areas of Principal Investment Management and established a broad demographic with help and guidance from Arianna and we established this client would benefit from our high end range of merchandise in terms of product and finishing.  We put forward ideas such as hook handled umbrellas, engraved metal pens, wine presentation boxes and USB memory sticks.

We then presented the client with visuals of all items to include the Principal Investment Management logo.  From here, we responded to the clients feedback and progressed the designs through to an approval stage.  We advised the client of different processes to maximise the impact of the personalisation to each product and reached a stage where production could commence.

With deadlines approaching, we managed to produce all the chosen items in time for an event the client was having which we believe was a great success.
